CogSci Apps Corp. co-founder Dr. Luc Beaudoin accepted an invitation from The Institute for Heart + Lung Health (IHLH) to present on “wearables and their health value” at the 2018 “Engage Heart + Lung Health FEST”. This University of British Columbia-affiliated event will be held Feb 6-7, at Sheraton Vancouver (registration here).
Many sleep experts recommend removing smartphones, tablets, computers and smartwatches from the bedroom. This is primarily because many adults and children cannot resist interacting with such devices if they are nearby. And even if these people don’t use the devices, they might unconsciously be vigilant with respect to the device, which can potentially delay sleep.
While we are very happy with the feedback we have received about mySleepButton, we continuously strive to improve the understanding of sleep onset and our techniques to promote sleep.
